Education is the heart of YoMIND. Through our dual-pronged educational approach that is both intellectual and experiential, we equip our students with the tools to change how they perceive themselves and the world. YoMIND education is targeted towards teaching adolescents how to exercise control over how and what they think. We aspire not only to create better students, but happier and more whole people.

Our YoMIND Ambassador program embodies our commitment to experiential learning and developing self-empowered community members. Following the “See one, do one, teach one” model, we encourage our students to truly embody their education, to engage with it, and to act on it so that the ripples of awareness may spread outward. As these ripples spread, we can move from communities characterized by competition to ones grounded in collaboration and mutual support.

YoMIND yoga emphasizes steady movement and pointed attention. Moving in a state of calm alertness, athletes are better able to discover areas of tension or instability and work with them.
Additionally, YoMIND addresses the physical AND mental aspects of athletics.
We offer sport-specific yoga sequences to keep athletes’ bodies balanced and breathing techniques to keep their minds calm yet sharp so our teams are always ready to perform at their highest level.

We want to support our students wherever they are and however they learn best. Sometimes in-class education just isn’t enough.
Living mindfully is a continuous effort and transforming perception can be a full-time job.
We offer resources to make this process as enjoyable and engaging as possible. Our videos are minimally time consuming and don’t require any background knowledge of yoga and mindfulness practices. Students can jump right into whatever interests them most, allowing them to take charge of their own education and growth.
